Womens Crack Cocaine Programme
This programme incorporates evidenced based approaches and non-judgemental engagement to support women where they are at in their life.
Following a successful pilot programme that was funded by the task force to address the on-going issues that were identified in the community for women of our community who use or are at risk of using crack cocaine.
This programme includes:
- Facilitated peer support group
- Drug education and prevention/harm reduction
- Access to professional drug workers/key working/addiction counselling/family therapy
- Access to hairdressing, nails and make up sessions
- Holistic sessions
- Support with referral to any services that are identified that will help the individuals
- Primary health care
- Lunch
- Access to shower
- Outreach engagement and support

Mens Crack Cocaine Programme
Following on from the successful, and well needed running of the Women’s Crack Cocaine Programme in our service, it was identified for a lengthy period of time that there was demand and an urgency for creating a similar version but for males in our community, catered differently for the needs of males.
This programme got up and running for the first time in May 2024, with the interest and referrals being received growing weekly.
This programme includes;
- Facilitated peer support group
- Drug education and prevention/harm reduction
- Access to professional drug workers/key working/addiction counselling/family therapy
- Support with referral to any services that are identified that will help the individuals
