Keep up to date with everything happening at CARP

If you have visited our building in the past i am sure you would have seen the mural of the tree as soon as you walked in, because it was always a talking point to everyone who came through the doors.

The decision to paint over the old mural and have someone do something new and fresh wasn’t a decision made lightly by staff. A decision was made based on the fact that since the old mural was done we have began offering more services to the community that weren’t represented on the old tree, and some other services were no longer available.

In this tree we wanted to add the roots, that represent what we want to portray as an organisation to the community, to give hope to those that use our service. IN this version of the tree you also see the clouds on either side; within the clouds you see the different models of treatment that our staff are trained up in, and use in everyday work.

We would like to thank Nikita Quinn for her wonderful work doing our mural this time round – we couldn’t be more thankful.

Recovery Month 2025

To conclude Recovery Month 2025 the Tallaght Recovery Walk started in CARP on Saturday 27th September. There was a great atmosphere around the building with the Garda band present to play some songs. The rainy weather didn't prevent anyone from leaving the building to take part in the walk. The walk finished in Glenshane Park where there was some activities and food provided for families and others who attended.

Tattoo Day 2025

On Sunday 21st September CARP opened its doors to Tattoo Day events to raise money for Bella Ciao and CARP. The proceeds for all tattoos went to Bella Ciao who support families of those fighting Breast Cancer, and all raffle ticket proceeds went to CARP. There was over 9000 euro raised on the day and all money raised has been utilised in really positive ways. Thank you to everyone involved with Tattoo day events, Bella Ciao, CARP and all other volunteers who gave up their time, we look forward to the next one.
